A daring work by Quentin Tarantino that reimagines World War II.
As the backdrop of war unfolds, a group of American soldiers, known as the Basterds, embark on a relentless mission to strike fear into the hearts of the Nazi regime. Led by the charismatic and ruthless Lieutenant Aldo Raine, played by Brad Pitt, this band of soldiers is determined to rewrite history, one scalp at a time.

Meanwhile, a young Jewish woman named Shosanna, portrayed by Mélanie Laurent, seethes with a burning desire for revenge after narrowly escaping the clutches of a sadistic SS officer. Her path collides with that of a charming but cunning Nazi officer, Colonel Hans Landa, brought to life by Christoph Waltz in an Oscar-winning performance.
With its trademark Tarantino flair, "Inglourious Basterds" weaves an intricate tapestry of tension, strategy, and unexpected alliances. It's a bold and unforgettable cinematic journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

The performance of Christoph Waltz, playing the Nazi Gestapo figure Col. Hans Landa, is the highlight of the film. His ability to convey courtliness and sympathy and then go to commit the cruelest of horrors is simply superb.

Ed Koch, The Atlantic

[Inglourious Basterds] is quintessentially Tarantino and a masterpiece that will be considered a classic fifty years from now.
