Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood" transports you to 1969 Los Angeles, capturing the essence of a city on the cusp of transformation.
The film introduces us to Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), a fading star of TV Westerns, and his loyal stunt double, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). As longtime companions navigate their professional lives and personal challenges, their paths intertwine with Roman Polanski's wife, the young actress Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), and the ominous Manson Family.

The movie skillfully blends reality and fiction while showcasing meticulous attention to detail. The recreation of 1960s Hollywood style will leave you captivated, and for good reason – the director asserts that the film is a tribute to an entire era, with Hollywood itself being the main character of this comedy drama.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019. It received praise from critics for Tarantino's screenplay and direction, acting, cinematography, costume design, production values, and soundtrack.

Tarantino was a boy of 6 in 1969, living far from the center of Los Angeles, and in a sense what he’s done here is re-create the world he’s imagined the adults were living in at the time. If it plays like a fairy tale, and it does, don’t forget the first words in the title are “Once Upon a Time.”
